Welcome to Aikido Harmonie's website. Here you will find all the information you need to participate in Mitsugi Saotome Sensei's international Aikido seminar, which takes place each summer in Le Vigan, in southern France.

Mitsugi SAOTOME Sensei

Aikido Harmonie is an organization that was created in 1990 by a few Aikido students (Marcel Dromer, Irène Lecoq, Jean-François Douche, and Paul Lagarrigue) who, along with other Aikidoka, wanted to have an annuel summer seminar in France, taught by Saotome Sensei. The first seminar took place in 1991, in a beautiful setting : Le Vigan, in the department of Le Gard. Since then, each year during the last week of August, the seminar has been an increasing success.

The mission which Saotome Sensei has entrusted to Aikido Harmonie is to unite all the European Aikidoka who wish to study with him, whatever their school or federation might be. The association is fulfilling this mission by welcoming more students each year from different European countries : Portugal, Hungary, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, etc.

Le Vigan, in the Cevennes mountains, is the only place in Europe where Saotome Sensei teaches seminars.
